2. Google User Data — YouTube API Services

When you connect your YouTube account via the “Connect YouTube” button:

• What we access: Your YouTube subscription list (channels you are subscribed to) — read-only.
• How we use it: Solely to show you personalized music, video, and shorts recommendations from your subscribed channels on our platform.
• Storage: Your subscription list is temporarily cached on our server for up to 12 hours to reduce repeated requests. Your OAuth access token is stored in an encrypted server-side session tied to your browser cookie.
• No sharing: We do not share, sell, transfer, or disclose your Google user data to any third party.
• No modification: We only read your subscriptions. We never post, delete, modify, or take any action on your YouTube account.
• No advertising use: Your Google data is never used for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes.

Disconnect anytime: You can disconnect your YouTube account at any time by clicking the “Disconnect” button on our website. This immediately deletes your stored tokens and cached subscription data from our servers.

3. YouTube API Services

Our platform uses the YouTube API Services to provide search, trending content, and video playback. By using our platform, you are also bound by Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

We use the YouTube Data API v3 for:

• Searching for music and videos
• Displaying trending content
• Finding related songs and videos
• Playing videos through the official YouTube embedded player

• Server logs: Retained for up to 30 days for security purposes, then automatically deleted.

8. Your Rights and Choices

• Disconnect YouTube: Click “Disconnect” anytime to remove your YouTube connection and all associated data from our servers.
• Clear local history: Clear your browser data to remove locally stored watch history and preferences.
• Revoke access: You can also revoke Play Tribe’s access from your Google Account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
• Data deletion: To request complete deletion of any data we may hold, contact us at the email below.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our platform is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-Party Services

Our platform integrates with:
